A book that was suggested by a member here in D.A. (passionshotzz) which I have just finished reading a few minutes ago.  The writer, Ameera Al Hakawati, although it is her nom de plume, has made an extraordinary job in writing this book.  With the vast amount of details and descriptions she has of the smallest points, corners, smell, simply everything; it glued me to the book and I am saying this because I am not much of a reader to anything.  I really thank you Ameera for such an amazing publication, and I wish you all the best in your future writings, which I personally hope we would see more of.

I also recommend this book to those who like more realistic stories which they could relate to easily rather than the fictional ones.

That's it for now

Hello DA's,

Well most people are on spring break holiday, well at least I know I am.  I have been to the Seychelles during this break which I must say was an amazing experience, and most importantly I got to clear my mind along the sandy beaches and blue skies.  Of course, a lot of pictures were taken which I would hopefully share soon.

That is it for now

So, I have decided to start reading again.  I feel I am loosing my vocabulary, those strong words which I used on a daily basis, the thing is I do not like reading fiction much.  I like to read something I can imagine, something related to life.  Some of the books I loved are Girls of Riyadh, A Million Little Pieces, The Kite Runner, My Friend Leonard, Mayda and so forth.  You get the idea, its all something that could happen or might have actually happened.

I have bought books a while back but I haven't really started reading any and they are The Wandering Falcon and The Sand Fish.  I still don't know which one I would be reading first, but I sure will, tonight.

Much Love,

Hind M. Al Ameri

Hello readers,

I know that it has been 83 days since the UAE national day celebrations, and of course I was at the parade, both days on the 1st and 2nd of December.

I preferred the one on the first since my mom was driving, which gave me the chance to freely take pictures of the wonderful decorated cars, the happiness on peoples faces, the teasing, and all else.

The 2nd of December, although it was the main day, I was busy driving my cousins and sister around and wasn't able to get as many photos because it was either I'll take photos or concentrate on driving and beeping all the way.

I must say it was fun, I must say being patriotic is in my blood, my blood carries the colors red, white, green, and black.

I love my country; and I'll upload the pictures as soon as I'm done my minor editing.

Much Love,

Hind M. Al Ameri

So the movie I mentioned was screened during the event which was hosted a couple of days passed, and I am glad many people liked it and had nothing else to talk about.

Through many past events I have been approached by many and they have all tried to convince me to change my beloved major to be media or anything related rather than environmental science; but no, I am sticking to what I am, it has a better future for me and I strongly believe in that.

I have been going through a lot of changes within my daily life routine, and I am glad to say it is slightly changing to a more better lifestyle *il7mdellah* , university is going well, social status is going up, and family relationships are getting stronger, and I have to thank god for all of this, and of course to my dearest friends who never underestimate me and my unexplainable actions sometimes.  I am glad I am feeling this way about myself, the feeling of self confidence, the feeling of a clear mind and a clear conscience.

What missing now is a smaller list than what was a few years back, and they are all considered as a minority.
